I Know... Not another Johnny Manziel thread?. LOL
Yes another one.
On Sunday Johnny got his first NFL start in a game that his Browns lost 30-0. Well after seeing what he did in that start it is clear to many that he may not have many more of them in the NFL
Scott had indicated last week that even though Hoyer had struggled, he still had them above .500 for the year and felt that the only reason for starting Manziel on Sunday may have been more political than anything.
He is just not ready for the NFL.
Steve feels he will be out of the league in 3 years and is a complete bust. His fundamentals are very flawed and he is very slow as hell.
The Bengals found something on film from Johnny's worst game in College vs the LSU Tigers and they used that in this game. They just would not let him go to his left, which is his strength.
Andy feels that he will not be a top notch QB in the league, but also notes that because of a few long early drives from the Bengals, Johnny was not on the field all that long in the game and he also had a critical 3rd down pass by him dropped, Which may have helped the Browns moving forward in that game. The jury is still out for Andy and he just wants to see if maybe his mechanics can be fixed some in the offseason.
Steve hates this game. His attitude and demeanor both on and off the field. His work ethic is really lacking and he feels better partying than trying to learn the game. Scott doesn't feel he has it in him to turn it around, especially at his age.
