The NFL has been my strongest sport throughout the last several years and that trend has continued this year. I'm coming off of a strong 5-2 week last week after the Saints won on Monday Night. I've only had one losing week all year in football when you combine NFL/college football. It feels really good to keep silencing the haters who say I'm no good at handicapping games because all I can say is...........scoreboard.
Anyways, here's my first selection in the NFL for Week 16.
BALTIMORE -4
The biggest reason for this selection is that Gary Kubiak comes back to Houston where he was fired last year. The personnel really hasn't changed at all on the Texans, so Kubiak is well aware on how to exploit their weaknesses. He was also fired and left Houston in an unhappy mood, as the GM/Owner (who are both incompetent by the way) forced him to play Case Keenum to close the year then fired Kubiak when he didn't win games. It's ironic that now Keenum will likely start in this game after all 3 Texans QB's are hurt. Keenum was signed off the Rams practice squad. The Ravens defense is playing very well right now, while the Texans are vulnerable in the secondary. Flacco was played well this year under Kubiak. The air is out of the Texans after they lost the division last week in Indy, a game in which they put an all out effort into. Houston has a decent homefield advantage but Philly went in there and won fairly easily a few weeks ago. Look for the Ravens to come out with an all out effort in order to stay in the AFC North Division race.
