RGIII + Cousins = best starter/backup qb combo in the league end of story!
voodoo: You've hexed yourself! Skins won 3 games last year with both QBs starting. In 2 years, RGIII has 28 career starts, 36-17 TD/INT ratio and 91.5 career QB rating.
I easily found 3 starting QBs with similar NFL experience and comparable or better stats. SB Champ Russell Wilson has 32 starts, more passing yards than RGIII, 52-17 ratio and 100.6 QB rating. Colin Kaepernick has 23 career starts, none as a rookie, 31-11 ratio and 93.8 QB rating. Ryan Tannehill has 32 career starts, 36 TDs and more passing yards than RGIII.
In 2 years, back up Cousins has 4 career starts with a 4-8 ratio and a 68.6 career QB rating. Even awful Blaine Gabbert w/27 starts in 3 years, 3 as rookie, has a QB rating, 66.4, just below Cousins.

Like I mentioned in the response prior to your post, the last 1+ seasons for RGIII are a total and complete writeoff for obvious reasons - I couldn't give a rip about 1 single stat of his last season - he wasn't right physically, mentally, and you had all the background drama with the coaching staff. Up until his injury, he was kicking ass, and completely owned Cam. He's more athletic, has a stronger arm, is more accurate, and equally important has better judgement and pocket presence.
As for Cousins, you're comparing apples and oranges. He (and any qb for that matter) are only as good as the offensive weapons they have on the field unless the do a lot of rushing. I am not at home to check the stats of which WRs were in the games that he played, or what teams they were playing at that time, but the bottom line with Cousins is that he ALWAYS looks sharp, and is very opportunistic...the guy is solid. The only point being made about him wss that he's better than Osweiler (and in my opinion better than a huge chunk of current starters in the game). It takes time to gel with an offence to get them on the same page - you can't just be a statwhore and and draw definitive conclusions from a few starts. Bottom line is that he's smart, accurate, and always looks sharp when he's got complimentary offensive weapons on the field.
As for RGIII vs. Cam, we'll revisit this at the end of the season if both he a Desean Jackson stay healthy.. -v
