NBA rescinds Duncan technical foul
As the Spurs expected, the NBA on Tuesday officially rescinded the technical foul given to Tim Duncan during Monday’s game against the Rockets in Houston.
Referee Tony Brothers gave Duncan the technical foul after a collision with Rockets guard Patrick Beverley, but admitted to Spurs coach Gregg Popovich that he had been mistaken in judging Duncan’s actions.
The NBA’s decision to wipe out the technical foul saved Duncan $3,000, his fine on the league’s graduating scale of fines for technicals.
********** If the NBA is willing to do this and remove this technical, SHOULDNT they have to also wipe out 1 point from the Rockets?
By doing this in last weeks game, the Rockets would have won by 5 and Spurs +6 backers would have won. Since that technical they now rescinded on Duncan costs the Spurs 1 pt, People who had Spurs +6 pushed.
Its nice to see the NBA doing this, but they should also remove 1 pt from that Rockets win and Vegas and offshores should do the right thing and credit Spurs +6 backers that full game!!!!
