As this VR saga dragged on, I was bashed for not commenting on it. After he announced his choice to leave, my intention was to make my one statement and move on.
Obviously I personally backed VR for many years - and my belief that VR delivered a lot of value to customers over those years has not changed. In fact, I never stopped believing that as the Pregame.com platform grew he could be a key part of the value we provided. When he recently told me that he felt in some ways underappreciated, I was open to discussing ways to change that. Nothing about my assessment of his past has at any point changed. The only thing I am disappointed in is his decision.
