Don't get me wrong. People can and do win at baseball. It IS a beatable sport. It's just one of the most difficult sports.

The sharp squares go NUTS when i say that. Instead of (correctly) discussing how prop betting in baseball IS beatable (as is live wagering), they bring up the donkalot, tired old argument of "IT's a dime line, AND there are sO MANY GAMES!"

1. Dime lines are pretty common now in all sports at Pinnacle. Also, the dimeline only exists for sides, THE toughest thing to beat in the world. At least football has a ton of recerational bettors, baseball has no such real impact. So.........it's the sharps vs. the sharps making any sizable wagers. Baseball players go NUTS in happiness when they get -111 on a game closing -125. And they can play back +117! Contrast that to football sharps who can and do get things like Ala +2-110 with Lsu+120.

2. THERE AREN'T MANY GAMES. 15 games a day is NOTHING compared to CBB, etc. Further THERE IS NOTHING TO DISTRACT THE ODDSMAKER DURING THE SUMMER. Contrast this with a CBB December board with NBA, NHL, NFL, CFB Bowls etc. It's just not that hard to get the lines close to right in 15 games in 1 sport, with nothing else going on.

3. I know lots of pretty average bettors that can win at football. They do ok in Baskets. And they don't do well in bases. Now SURE the few winning bases bettors will go NUTS complaining, Cutter will exclaim "I #)%*#(%* win"......Well yes Cutter you win, but you win betting +1.5 -165 on bets vs. the small local joints with $300 limits, and by burning rubber all over town getting these bets when Pinny has it -178 and the total is crashing down.
