Dr. Ed I am new to trying the SQDL. Is there a parameter for interleague games? I did not see it on the site. I will go back and read the thread in case I missed something.
BBQ,
We try to keep the SDQL consistent across all sports. For example:
HD and streak>=3
Is a home dog on a three-plus game winning streak in any sport.
So, we employ the shortcut C for conference games in all three sports even though they are called leagues in baseball.
So the Cardinals vs a conference opponent is:
team = Cardinals and C
is the St Louis Cardinals vs a NL opponent in baseball, or the Arizona Cardinals vs an NFC opponent in football. To get non-conference opponents, you need "not C." so, in baseball the SDQL text:
not C
will give all interleague games.
If you want to see interleague games in which the National League is at home (pitcher must bat), use:
conference = NL and H and o:conference = AL
Thanks for the question on the SDQL.
