First, IF ANONE IS GOING TO GET OUT OF LINE OR TAKE THIS PERSONAL YOU CAN KICK ROCKS OUT OF THIS THREAD NOW.
Even though I try to follow the basic rule of no religion or politics in the forums for myself due to being the owner, can't technically start a thread and not be the first to post in it.
So......
Preface with I technically am a Republican. I voted for Bush. During the tenure of Bush with the Republicans in almost complete power they lost their way big time. Under GW, they spent like a liberals wet dream. Everyone had their hand out for a pet program or $ from their daddy in the White House. I did not agree with invading Iraq. Mainly on the grounds it was funny to me we supported and knew the guy was a douch-bag from day #1, but since he was killing Iranians we did not care. Saddam was such a GOOD GUY to us during that time, we helped build his arsenal and after he cut a check to save a Catholic Church in Detroit, the mayor of the city had him fly in and gave him the key to the city (google it for the story and pictures). If he had these massive weapons you would have to assume they would have been used during the blockade or at bare minimum on Israel. The last election I voted for Obama, more for a protest vote against a party that I felt lost their way on trying to be fiscally responsible. I also did not agree with the party becoming further right and trying to dictate and run on moral issues instead of less government and intrusion overall. Going into this election, you have to give Obama credit on the terrorism front. The dude is like the terminator. At the same time, the money dumped into the economy has not done much and would have been cheaper to probably just cut everyone in the country a check for like 100k and say you have to piss it away locally on goods and services. Not a fan of Romney as I feel he is a poor-mans John Kerry and seems to say what he thinks people want to hear and after watching almost every single debate really not sure who this guy really is.
As we near the elections and policy is laid out, running mates are chosen and the debates happen there is a chance I could lean one side to the other. As of now, I plan to sit this one out.
Who is next?
