Deljr I appreciate your feedback. You are a gentleman and you get your points across without bashing with an understanding of both sides.
Last night (Tuesday) was a perfect example of trying to handicap the NBA playoffs when there is now just one or two games on the board. I had a strong lean to the Wizards and a small lean to the Jazz although I would have taken 14 if that nuimber would have become available. But it didn't going the other way from 13 1/2 to 13.
So what happens. The Wizards were the right handicap. Unfortunately they lost in overtime and didn't cover the spread. A very bad beat.
The Jazz shouldn't have covered the spread. They were down 104-86 with less than 3 minutes left and the game essentially over. It was garbage time. But the Jazz outscored the Warriors, 8-2, during this meaningless end game and only lost by 12 thus covering.
