Spartan thanks very much for your defense and much appreciated loyalty, but customers are never going to like it when you lose a play with any sort of Game of the Year label. I accept that and know what's in store if the game loses. It doesn't matter what your past history or record is on big games, or how the game gets played out. Everything is judged on the final score.
It has been one of the most difficult weeks of my life. I put nearly all of my college efforts into this one total - and liked the game a lot. It was a winner until the final two minutes when a flurry of scoring pushed it way over the total. That can happen when two bad teams are involved. It's on me.
In a perfect world, people hiding behind screen names wouldn't resort to calling someone such as myself a "bum" and ripping you a new one because a game lost. We all know this is gambling. We can try to gain an edge, but there are no locks. I'm not going to pretend it doesn't hurt, though. It does.
But I maintain my self-esteem and honor. I always put the effort in and my long-term results on Triple Stars is 77-59-3 (56%) on my last 139. I can look myself in the mirror.
