Let me just address this before I do something else and wake up to drama. The only fear I had was that Valdez would get hit early, and honestly it was the ONLY fear I had and it came to big-time fruition. So, barring much changing, let me fall on my sword over that one. It's not often I'm that wrong on that big of a play - but, clearly that might be the case. It looks like we (I) weren't alone, since the sharp money was obviously on the A's and they bet that total down quite a bit, so I felt pretty good before the first pitch.
So, we'll probably split our MLB bets today, the Grizzlies look reasonable at HT - but we'll likely drop the one that mattered the most. So, if the A's don't get to the Mariner's pen soon enough, or the Mariners kick another FG, feel free to LMK how you feel. If for some reason the A's pull a "Cavaliers", then consider this an apology for the next loss.
