Dave what is up with UCLA -2 at Oregon? That spread seems very low for that match up. Any opinion on that game?
Probably respect for Altman and at home. Clearly the total will be jacked - but I expect the Ducks to NOT try to simply outscore them, so I like the under better than a side. IMO Oregon's chances come down to PG play. If Pritchard and Ennis play well, they can win. The two teams that beat the Ducks were G-Town and Baylor, both polar opposite styles than UCLA, who lost to the Ducks twice last season. I'd always look for reasons to back the home dog, you know that - the yellow flag is that UCLA allowed Michigan to score 84 points (of course UCLA scored 100+) - so back the the PG's - if they can shoot over UCLA - they can win. That's the whole key, IMO, to both the total and the side. But, we've got 12 hours :)
