"-3.45 but whose counting. That attests to the fact that people will jump around with unreasonable expectations. Not my problem."
Not your problem Dave? Are you serious?
You call a game the "Game of the Year", RJ Bell calls it a "truly SPECIAL play" and you don't think the expectations get ratcheted up quite a bit?? Are you joking?
Sure, I read the write-up. Seemed like a fairly normal write-up, nothing out of the ordinary to make me think it was a GOY or anything more.....But hey, I'm just a small business man looking for an edge, I don't own a professional handicapping website or promote myself as a professional gambler.......Forgive me for thinking you guys might know something I don't!
Don't you get it Dave??? We don't care about your cookie recipes, your gardening tips, or your relationship advice......we care and pay for (you're welcome) your sports handicapping!
Unreasonable expectations!??! Hell yes, I had an unreasonable expectation!
If some idiot on a cooking show had picked the Padres, then yeah, expecting him to be right would be unreasonable.....but when one of the premier voices of sports handicapping calls a play "SPECIAL" and a respected and professional handicapper calls a play his Game of The Year.....call me crazy but I'm most definitely going to increase my expectation level.
Not your problem? That's really an insult. You've lost me as a customer Dave. You call a game your Game of The Year, get RJ Bell to back you by calling it a Special play, and then tell me it's not your problem that expectations got jacked up? That's a joke, right?
But hey, it's just a game, right? Win some games, lose some games, right? Win some customers, lose some customers, right?
Doesn't seem like you care about sticking around here much anyway...strong message.....maybe we all should take that advice to heart.
Carpe Diem -
