There are some names that you don't even have to mention the last name. Kind of like Shaq, the Babe, you get my drift. One of those is the topic today. Wilt. It was on this date back in 1961 that the big man scored 78 points against Los Angeles. It was also on this date in 1962 that Wilt put 62 points up against the St Louis Hawks. I can recall watching Wilt play, as a kid growing up the Lakers were my favorite team. Wilt was way, way, way ahead of his time. The man was a physical freak of nature. There really was not much of anything athletically he could not master. If you just check the NBA record book it is beyond amazing. With SEVENTY TWO records, 68 of which he holds by himself, Wilt dominates the NBA record books. I'd list them here but frankly don't have the time to spare. He was his own man, off the court he was a man with diverse interests. He could drive a race car, he could cook a gourmet meal, he was well versed in a multitude of subjects. And he likely holds a record second only to John Holmes or Ron Jeremy as well, he likely enjoyed that one the most of all. There will never be another Wilt. It's impossible to summarize a man like Wilt in a paragraph.
Okay, a free winner. The Warriors came back down to reality in Memphis and now return home to clash with the Thunder, who have been on fire by their own right. It's no secret how tough they can be at the Oracle and maybe they do get back on track tonight but I think the Thunder plus the 3 points is the right side here. This one has the makings of an early season classic. The Thunder are playing well and finally healthy. I'll take them here with the points. There are not a lot of games early on in the league to get too worked up over but I think this one qualifies.
On the business side I have loaded up some featured releases. I have an NFL Double star going on saturday. I have an NFL Triple going on sunday. And I have my Bowl Game of the Year loaded up as well. One note on the NFL Triple. I have lost three straight NFL Triples. My clients know that is rare. They also know in my time with Pregame I have never dropped four straight. I just don't believe in spinning stuff. I know it is aggravating as hell when some service ignores losses like they never happened. So once again, I will state. I have lost THREE straight NFL Triple Star releases. To say I put a lot of thought into this weeks Triple would be a massive understatement. I feel very confident it will cash out for us. There will be those who say, Spartan is cold and I am not buying in, I get that. There are others who will say Spartan will nail this one. I honestly think they are right. But I don't promote locks. That is just ignorant. They don't exist.
Also, it is worth mentioning for sure that Pregame has a football package offer up that provides for every NFL Release through the playoffs and Super Bowl. The playoffs have been a cash cow the last few years, I have cashed in on 16 of the last 18 NFL Playoff releases. This package is reasonable as hell and worth a look.
Okay, much work to do and I assure you I am all over it. Good luck tonight guys.
