This system will lack vital info week 1 there are a few players for the vols that will be having breakout performances there making there leap and getting discovered I follow Winn's system when I'm confident it has a good grasp on the season

uncle vito - I think you are referring to my system (if not, sorry for the confusion). You make an excellent point about getting a grasp of the season. In fact, my numbers for week 1 are from 2015 so there's definitely going to be some discrepancies.
Having said that, it's all there is to go on at this point and the majority of the time it still gives a fairly accurate account of a team's position. But still, there's no doubt that after a few weeks of the season there should be more confidence in the system, any system, than in week 1.
As far as comments from others about returning players, new players, class, etc. How they'll perform is all speculation, too, until we see at least a game or two.
So, week 1 in CFB (even the NFL) is somewhat of a crapshoot and anyone claiming any different is naive and/or uninformed about betting CFB IMO. There's bound to be differences of opinion, but that's all it is.
Tread lightly in week 1 is my advice (even though no one asked for it).
Cheers!
Sorry I strongly disagree.....I think the first week of football is a gold mine if you do your due diligence. Vegas has not completely caught up with , let's say with the catch 22 factor. The very best money to be made is definitely at the beginning of both the NFL and College Season. Bold statement, but if you don't believe me, watch and see.
I can also inform you that I'm not naive or uninformed about betting.

Hizz - I have no problem if you disagree with me. Or even strongly disagree. I stand by my comments.
Although, Im not sure what I'm supposed to watch and see. I'm always open to being enlightened.
Cheers!
The "watch and see" was referring to my record (I think that would have been easy to figure out).
Now I have a question...if you are saying to tread lightly at the beginning of the season , are you also saying that your post "It rates TENN just a -10.89 favorite, so the recommendation is on APP +20 for 4 units" Are you saying that the 4 units is not a good bet..Does your system account for when one bets and when one doesn't or shouldn't bet? Are you saying at the beginning of the season one shouldn't bet and possibly at the end of the NFL when coaches are saving players for the playoffs.....as well as coaches for bowl games? Does your system take that in account? Are you also saying that you will not bet App. State for 4 units?
Inquiring minds would like to know.

Hizz - So where can one find your record and picks for week 1?
My "tread lightly" comment was a word of advice that since there's no recent performance info - statistical or otherwise - available for week 1 match ups then one should take this into consideration when handicapping themselves or getting another's advice.
My CRS does not vary it's unit recommendations for different weeks, simply because it doesn't.
I've already provided a detailed explanation of the CRS. Apparently you haven't done yourself a favor and read it before asking questions that you would know the answer to if you had.
I'm looking forward to checking out your verified record and picks. Perhaps your right.
Cheers!

You can find my record right here at pregame , the only place that I post .
Now please answer my question. You stated that App State was a 4 unit bet, it's the first week of CFB, are you saying that it isn't a 4 unit bet? A simple yes or no would be a great answer. Cheers
looks like we can break a record here with # of boxes let's not waste this big wave, winn do you have any thing to add
