I'm 3-0 ATS this season betting on West Virginia. I was ready to fade them against Oklahoma thinking oddsmakers might over-correct but the line is at 11 right now and that's just too many points to pass up. Trickett and Holgorsen are on the same page and WVU's air raid offense is clicking. They are coming off a win against Maryland that should have been by more than 3 points considering they lost 3 fumbles and Maryland lost 0. When WVU played at Oklahoma last year they held them to 16 points in a 16-7 loss. This tells me that WVU likely matches up well against Trevor Knight and Oklahoma's offense. I'm not concerned about WVU's poor offensive output in that game considering they started backup QB Paul 'Noodle Arm' Millard. WVU's offense is totally different this year compared to last now that Trickett is healthy and he and the other newcomers have learned the system. For whatever reason the market is slow to recognize this. I'll go back to a telling quote from Dana Holgorsen that I used in my last write-up where he essentially said "For the first time since Geno was here when I call a play I expect it to work". WVU is also benefitting from the emergence of wide receiver Kevin White. Oklahoma's win over Tennessee was impressive but probably should have been closer than the final score indicated. Finally, Oklahoma might be in a bit of a let down spot coming off a prime time home game against an SEC opponent and now having to travel to Morgantown for another night game in the national spotlight. Meanwhile the atmosphere in Morgantown will be electric. We ride the Mountaineers another week and take the points. (Might add more to the write-up but wanted to get this up ASAP)
