Indiana -2 (3 units) Posted this last night, and bet it, because we thought the line would move. Quasi-writeups available in posts labeled "Tues Big Ten Lookahead" and "Indiana -2". We increased it to a 3 unit play last night.
Georgia (3 units) I decided to post this play because I see a number of people with huge bets and uber-confident posts on Kentucky. I want to be the other side of the argument, because we believe it is the right side, and I do not want you guys looking for forum help to be led into a losing bet. I did not plan on releasing this play as a free play though. We've had this one circled for a while at The Phoenix. Ever since we started paying close attention to Georgia, we have said "this is the only SEC team that can beat Kentucky". So we looked to the game at Georgia as one to bang if the line came out correct. And boy did we get a treat. We get Kentucky coming off Arkansas. That was the one for them to get up for, Arkansas who beat them twice last year, Arkansas who is ranked, not Georgia. Not only was that the one to get up for, but they did get up for it and they whooped them. However, we all saw what happened towards the end when Kentucky took their foot off the gas and relaxed-Arkansas had success. Now, in this game against Georgia we don't think Kentucky is going to play the way they did vs Arkansas until they get down. Georgia is really really good and may be the most underrated team in the country. They played them a few weeks ago with their best player, by far, hurt and out for the game in Thornton. He is a beast and he is back. The big white dude for Georgia is super skilled with great footwork (a la poor man's Frank Kaminsky), they get to the line a lot, and Mann is the best outside shooter I've seen all year in college hoops. Take Georgia +10 and sprinkle .5 unit on the ML. Also value in Georgia 1st half spread and ML because Kentucky may turn it on once they get down.
