2-1-1 last night as LaTroy Hawkins and an error ruined 3-1. But we we once again take the profit, and get back to work today. We're now 7-4-1 this week, and we'll look to build on that today. FREE trial still going on for those interested, and why NOT?!?
Here's a couple from today's card:
- CWS/Minny OVER 8.5, 2* - Look at what Hughes has done recently? Sure he had a nice stretch to start the season, but regression sets in as it almost always does! In his last 4 home starts, an ERA of OVER 8 and 31 hits given up. The White Sox can and will hit him tonight. On the opposite side, Noesi is still so hit or miss...mostly miss. An overall ERA of OVER 5, and he struggles on the road (see his Cleveland game, 4.2 IP & 6 ER). Plus, these pitchers won't go more than 5 or 6 innings, meaning we get to see the bullpens. Just too many ways this one sails OVER.
- Phillies - 120, 1* - Just a small play here for the fact that Hamels is just BETTER than Hudson and I have to think the Giants are pretty content with the series after winning the first 3. Haven't seen line-ups yet, but I do think that the Giants will sit a few guys today. And we always like the angle of a team trying to avoid the sweep.
