2-2 +2.35 yesterday
121-107 +35.45 ytd.
Okay, yesterday could've been so much better had Julio tehran just given me a decent start but instead he gets hammered for one big inning and that was that. Although he braves did show a lot of heart battled there way back into the game just couldn't overcome Julio Tehran poor performance. Had a great read on the pirates game so no sweat there but the Indians game was a different story. Salazar ran into big trouble in the sixth inning and his reliever gave up a huge bases clearing triple.
Cubs/Pirates over 8.5 -108 5.40u to win 5u
Lackey has some bad numbers against the Pirates lineup and he's been sstruggeling his last couple of starts. Buccos really playing good baseball and can't let another opportunity pass them by here. Problem is John niese is starting and he's been horrible against the Cubs in his past two starts against him. Both bullpens were taxed heavily in yesterday's game since Lester and kuhl didn't last long at all. Both lineups are really hitting the ball well this series and they get another couple of very hittable pitchers to feast on. Niese has faced the Cubs twice already this season and has had no success walking 9 batters and giving up 10 runs in only 10 innings of work. Both bullpens have been getting a lot of work lately so could definitely see that being a problem again If the starters don't go long which I'm not expecting.
Braves +155 Foltynewicz vs Shields 5u to 7.75u
How bout them braves? Theyve swung the bats pretty well against the sox top two pitchers and came very close to winning yesterday's game. Sure, shields has pitched better in his last three starts but there's no way I could trust him laying this kind of price. Folty has had a lot of issues in the majors but the sox have never seen him before and he's got a live arm with a fastball that averages around 95 mph compared to shields who throws in the upper 80's.
