3 UNIT PLAYS
Dodgers/ Padres Under 6.5 (-120): Both offenses are improved over last year, but this is a game in Petco, where it is not easy to score runs. The Padres have scored 4.14 rpg at home this year, but they will be taking on Zack Greinke, who has great numbers in this park, posting a 1.74 ERA in 5 starts here. Cashner has been a very good pitcher in this park and has allowed 1 ER or less in 4 carer home starts vs the Dodgers, posting a 1.00 ERA in those 4 starts. He did get lit up at LA earlier in the year, but now the Dodgers are on the road, where they have averaged just 2.8 rpg and just scored a total of 6 runs in their 3 game set at San Francisco. This is an offense that is struggling right now and that should continue tonight. The Padres offense should struggle as well. The Under is 21-5 in the Padre's last 26 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600, plus 12-2 in the last 14 meetings in San Diego between these teams. Nice trends to have in our corner. Pitcher's duel in San Diego tonight.
Houston/ Oakland Under 7 (-120): This should be a classic pitchers duel for sure. Dallas Keuchel has been rock solid in his 3 starts this year as he has an 0.90 ERA in those starts, while in his last 3 starts vs the A's he has a 1.98 ERA. On the other side we has Scott Kazmir, who has been very good in the early going as well as he has posted a 1.33 ERA and an 0.79 WHIP through 3 starts so far, plus he has a very nice 1.78 ERA in his last 6 starts vs the Astros. The A's Pen has been solid at home, while the Astros pen is one of the best in the league, plus we have two teams that don't hit lefties all that well. The Under is 21-5 in Houston's last 26 road games and 10-2 in Keuchel's last 12 starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5, while the Under is also 5-1 the last 6 in the series. This is my kind of game and should net us 5 runs at most.
2 Team Parlay: (Risking 3 Units To Win 4.24 Units): Seattle -188 & LA Angels -174
BEST OF THE REST
NY Yankees/ NY Mets Under 7 (-110): Pineda has struggled in the early going, but he is at home where he has pitched well in his career. He does have a 5.00 ERA overall, but a 3.00 ERA in his lone home start this year and he has a career 1.77 ERA at Yankee stadium, plus a 1.39 ERA in 5 career interleague starts. Nice numbers to have and the Mets have struggled on offense on the road this year. The Yanks have scored 5.17 rpg at home, but they hit just .228 here, including just .224 vs righties and deGrom is a good one. Jacob has started out hot this year with an 0.93 ERA and last year when he faced the Yanks he allowed just 1 ER in 7 innings of a 1-0 loss. The Under is 43-20 in the Yanks last 63 interleague games and I see this one following suit. (Push)
San Francisco/ Colorado Under 10 (-120) (Push)
Washington -117 over MIAMI
Pittsburgh/ Arizona Over 8 (-115)
St Louis -135 over MILWAUKEE
