Every game I look at, I try to find the best value bet possible, tonight's game, I like the young guy Ventura, but that's the thing, he's young, followed by an inexperienced post season team behind him. So you might get a couple hit shut out, or you could get the opposite. At least last night I knew, putting my money on Bumgarner, that I was putting my money on someone I trusted. I don't trust either pitcher too much tonight, but both are very capable of a good outing. I'm sure a lot of people that are on the Royals tonight, are for The sole reason, they lost last night. That's not smart. Watching this playoff so far, I've watched all the Royals games this post season, and last night caught me off guard, they didn't even look like the same team, and I'm talking about the enthusiasm, even though I can't stand when they do it, but the whole tipping of the cap to each other too, I feel, they know this Giants team is the real deal, and the team with the rings. So all the chest bumping, and Hosmer jumping around like he's some mad man, just won't affect the Giants, like it would with some other inexperienced teams. it's kind of like, little brother, trying to compete with big brother, you're not going to pull one over on him, and get him out of his game, I see the Royals as little brother. So after all the talk of this magical 8 game run, the Royals are 8-1 this postseason. Funny not as much talk has been made for the Giants, but they're are 9-2 this postseason. It's just what the Giants do, business as usual.. So back up to the point of my beginning sentence about value, tonight I see ALL the value on the Giants. How does little brother respond, after big brother hits him with a uppercut KO, 7-1. usually after that, little brother wants nothing to do with. Now the Royals aren't going to lay down, and waive the red flag after game 1 of a 7 game series, but I feel like this is the biggest game of the series, for both teams. Giants win this game, and they possibly sweep the series, or at least set themselves up for a great chance of winning it all. So once again, give me the proven team, with the proven coach. To my point in the beginning about trust, I trust this Giants team in this 1-0 position, way more than the Unproven Royals. Now some would debate the overall talent between the teams as being close, but In this World Series position I honestly don't even think it's close after watching game 1. The home field looked like it had absolutely no advantage for the Royals last night, the Giants have been in a lot harder situations than they're now. I mean this is a team that went down 0-2 at home in a playoff series against the Reds, with their playoff life's on the line, and end up going back to cincy and sweeping them. My point, nothing rattles this team, and they KNOW how to win. Not to mention this Giants team offensively, with having the DH, the line up looks pretty scary, a lot of power in there, and guys like Pence and Posey who refuse to lose, and make an out. This Giants team is really freakin good, then you give me Bruce Bochy?
