He's right Dave. You're trying to handicap these games using some obscure , fancy angles. Bottom line in baseball is pitching, hitting, and cold/hot streaks. You finally release a 3* using an unpredictable Angels team. You decide to fade Chris Archer with Cory Rasmus whose 0-2 with a 6.48ERA??? I know this is Monday morning QB'ing but I hated these picks when you released them, and it's worse because they lost. And now you're just giving out the same picks every night, right back on the Angels, Houston over.etc. I just pray the Angels pull this one out.
I won't debate the right or wrong way to "handicap". Some of my "handicaps" sucked and some have been unfortunate. Houston/Seattle - 18 hits, 3 walks, 1 error = four runs. Lindor doesn't line into a DP and that's a push at worst. Cleveland gets zero runs at home. The Heat blow a six point fourth quarter lead at home in a playoff game. There's a fine line sometimes between winning and losing - that doesn't discount the last month, however, but you deserve a response. I can't be influenced by who I should and shouldn't bet on. If you want the team with the better pitcher, better hitters, and better defense, you either can see that for yourself, or you're going to pay for it. It's almost that simple.
