Good start to the week for the sharp money, as it cashed with Northern Illinois on Tuesday. Here's what else I've been able to get info on for this week. Compiled from various sources in Nevada, offshore, plus through contacts at underground stateside shops.
308 Kansas State starting to attract some pro cash and consensus seems to be that more will show today.
320 SMU has been on the opposite side of public flow so far, but expectation from a couple of my contacts is that Mustangs money shows on Friday.
325 Illinois was targeted early by some sharp action, but has since leveled off.
332 West Virginia is drawing money from the pros, while the joes are taking with Texas Tech.
336 Georgia State paid off the sharps last week and they've rolled right back on that side again this week.
347 Cincinnati is starting to get some wise guy play, but no really big money yet.
349 Akron getting a trickle from the sharps, public is preferring the host, although this is a small potatoes game as of now both ways.
362 Texas State hasn't draw big dollars, but it appears all the serious wagers so far have been on the Bobcats.
392 Maryland is getting the wise guy dollars as they host Wisconsin.
408 Middle Tennessee State is looking to be a sharp/square battleground, with the smarts lining up on the Blue Raiders.
420 South Alabama got tagged pretty early and the line move reflected that. Public also likes the Jaguars.
422 Nebraska has not gotten sharp play yet, but my strongest offshore contact is convinced it's coming. The joes are pounding the Michigan State side, and the opinion is the big boys are waiting for the optimum number.
That's what I have as of now. As always, a reminder these are not my plays or opinions, just info on the money flow. Use it as you wish, but my advice remains the same. If you like a side, stay with it and try to find the best number.
Add 384 Oklahoma State to the sharp list. Bought pretty heavily this morning.
