Looking for an NBA sleeper? How about the Boston Celtics to win the Eastern Conference at 15-1.
Boston has the third-best record in the East at 32-23 behind Cleveland's 38-14 and Toronto's 35-17. The Celtics are coming on winning 10 of their last 12. They have a deep roster, Isaiah Thomas has emerged as an All-Star guard and the team is well-coached thanks to Brad Stevens.
Talent-wise, the Celtics don't come close to matching the Cavaliers. But that could change real soon. How dangerous on paper would the Celtics look if they strengthened their front-court by adding All-Stars Dwight Howard and Al Horford? Reportedly they are available - and the Celtics have the draft picks to get them.
On the handicapping front, I am 53-23-2 on my last 78 premium and free plays for 68 percent after a 5-0 Thursday, including a 3-0 hockey day. My attention today is on the ice where I have a Triple Star NHL play going. It can be found here along with all of my packages and plays: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper.
As always, best of luck and let's have no bad beats!
