My vote for most surprising pitcher so far this season goes to Mike Pelfrey.
Pelfrey hasn't had a winning season since 2010 with a fastball that is only rumored to break glass. Yet he's 3-0 this year with a 2.62 ERA in six starts. The Twins have won his last five starts.
I can't believe this is going to hold up. Pelfrey has just three more strikeouts than walks. His ERA last year was 7.99. Two years ago, his ERA was 5.19.
But do you fade a hot pitcher? I think I'll just be avoiding Pelfrey until he returns back to Earth.
On the handicapping front, I have a Triple Star NBA play today along with an MLB Top Ticket. I am 22-11 on my last 33 NBA playoff plays and 32-19-1 on my past 52 Triple Stars. I'm coming off a 2-0 MLB Sunday on my premium and free plays. My plays and packages can be found here: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper.
As always, let's have no bad luck!
