1* Take TCU +8 (#765)
My clients and I have cashed easy ‘right side’ winners supporting TCU in each of their last two games, a 17 point home blowout over Texas Tech and a ‘tighter than the final score would indicate’ seven point loss at Oklahoma last Saturday. Here’s an extended excerpt from my write-up supporting the Horned Frogs in their last game, explaining exactly why TCU is a ‘bet-on’ team moving forward!
“There’s clearly money to be made on TCU; a team that has improved by leaps and bounds over the course of the last month. TCU is oozing with confidence off their impressive showing at Kansas, rallying back from a 16 point deficit in the second half to make things interesting down the stretch in Lawrence. The Horned Frogs were aggressive throughout, taking the ball to the hole instead of settling for jump shots. Senior guard Trey Zeigler: “We felt like we were in the game. We felt like we played pretty well. We want to continue to play pretty well, finish out the season strong.”
“TCU head coach Trent Johnson: “We’re playing better. Our last (few) games, we’ve played probably as good as we have all year. I don’t know about ‘trending up’ and stuff like that. We’re playing better, that’s a good thing.”
TCU has now covered the spread in each of their last five ballgames by an average of more than eight points per contest. They’ve won three of their last five in SU fashion; a huge confidence boost for a squad that was just 1-10 in Big 12 play prior to this run. And the Horned Frogs certainly have confidence against an Oklahoma State team that they flat out whipped on Valentine’s Day despite the fact that they went 0-fer the game from three point range!
Oklahoma State overachieved early, but they’ve come back to earth over the course of the Big 12 campaign. The Cowboys enter tonight’s game with a 7-9 mark in conference play, including four consecutive losses heading into this ballgame, a team whose confidence and chemistry are clearly shaken right now. It’s surely worth noting each of Oklahoma State’s last five losses came with the Cowboys posted as favorites; a team that has repeatedly been unable to take care of business against ‘lesser’ foes. I’m not convinced that TCU is much ‘lesser’ compared to Oklahoma State these days….. Take TCU.
Teddy is riding a 19-9 (68%) all sports hot streak over the past eleven days. Each of his last four losses (including one last night) were absolute heartbreakers by a bucket or less -- not many 'wrong sides' from Teddy these days. Teddy's college hoops is red hot right now, riding a 75% hot streak. And Teddy's NBA has been making big $$ for months; 39-23 (63%) in NBA action dating back before Christmas, Go for the 3-0 Wednesday Sweep riding Teddy's 3* Big Ticket winner in college hoops as part of his three game report, including a 'Watch & Win' on ESPN in NBA action tonight.
