West Virginia Moutaineers at Oklahoma State Cowboys Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

College Basketball on Saturday and we will see the West Virginia Mountaineers travel to Stillwater Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 pm (Eastern) start time and will be televised on ESPN U. Currently the odds for the game have Oklahoma State favored by 9.5 points while the total sits at 126.5.  Check out Sportsbook Spy to see who the Public is taking on all of today's games.

Free Analysis: The West Virginia Mountaineers are having a rebuilding year and this is their third road game in their last four games. WVU has played the 35th ranked schedule in the nation and they are just 1-4 on the road this season. The Mountaineers, who beat fellow Big 12 newcomer Texas Christian on Wednesday to snap a three-game losing streak, haven't won back-to-back games since late December.  Freshman guard Eron Harris has scored in double figures in three straight games - including a career-high 19 points against TCU - and is averaging 10.2 points in league play. Sophomore guard Jabarie Hinds is averaging 13.4 points in Big 12 play. Freshman guard Terry Henderson returned from a back injury Wednesday and averages 9.3 points in league play. The Mountaineers ranked 318th nationally and last in the Big 12 in field-goal percentage (39.4) but lead the conference in offensive rebounds. As a team West Virginia is averaging 67.2 points, 12.3 assists, and while defensively they are allowing 65.9 points, 13 assists, and their opponents are shooting 43 percent.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have lost three of their last five games and have fallen into a tie for sixth place in the Big 12. The Cowboys, who are 9-1 at home, are led by junior guard Markel Brown's 14.4 points per game. Sophomore swingman Le'Bryan Nash, who had a season-high 24 against Baylor, adds 13.9 points. Freshman guard Marcus Smart continues to do a little bit of everything for the Cowboys, averaging 13.2 points, 4.5 assists, 5.7 rebounds and a league-high 2.7 steals. The Cowboys rank 15th nationally in field-goal percentage defense (37.5) and 18th in points allowed (57.8). On offense Oklahoma State is averaging 70.1 points, 12.4 assists, and they are shooting 43.9 percent. Marcus Smart is averaging 13.2 points and 5.7 rebounds, and Le’Bryan Nash is averaging 13.9 points. Oklahoma State was ranked in the top 25 earlier this year but it will take some work to get back there.

Oklahoma State is 41-17-3 against the spread in their last 61 home games, 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall, and 34-15-2 against the spread in their last 51 home games against a team with a losing road record. West Virginia is 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games overall, 0-4-1 against the spread following a win, and 3-0-1 against the spread against the Big 12.

Free Pick: Im gonna go with the Over in this one. Oklahoma State averages a solid 72.5 ppg on 46.8% shooting at home on the year, while West Virginia allows 69 pg on the road. The Cowboys allow just 52.2 ppg at home, but 60.8 ppg in their last 5 games overall. WVU has had Problems scoring on the road this year, but their offense is picking up overall as they have averaged 62.2 ppg in their last 5 games. I expect both teams to hit at least 63 in this one.
