Nevada bookmaker Chris Andrews from the Cal Neva family of sportsbooks (35 locations throughout Nevada) each and every week will break down what happened in the betting world for the Pregame community. Usually Monday Night Football is a big payday or a big letdown and last night was no different according to Chris, "We need the Dolphins tonight for a pretty good amount. Outright would be best. Lots of teasers running to the Jets."
The best college game of the week?
*Oklahoma. The box score was ugly, but they kept it close enough.
What games hurt the book in college on Saturday?
*A lot of bad college games but the worst was Oklahoma State. We couldn't keep the public off them. The wiseguys were all over Texas but it wasn't enough to save us.
What is scaring the hell out of me right now is the schedule for Saturday night. We have Oklahoma, Alabama, Wisconsin, and Stanford all going late. I know the public will be allover those teams, and why not? All they do is cover. Throw in Notre Dame and we'll need a few dogs or it's going to be a long night.

NFL game that made the house money?
*The best NFL game was the Bucs over the Saints. No one had the Bucs and they won outright. Great for us.
Who cost you money in the NFL?
*The worst game was the Raiders. Not a big move but hardly a ticket on the Browns until we went to 7, and that's where it landed. Very painful.
Early NFL action:
*The biggest early action is on the Jaguars +9 on Monday night against the Ravens. It seems kind of strange. I think the players could have gotten an inflated number come Monday night just by letting the public bet on the favorite like they usually do on a Monday night. Looks a little fishy. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a fake move.
Early action in college football:
*Biggest move on Purdue, opened +6.5 now +4.5 vs Illinois.
*Stanford opened -19.5 now -21 over Washington.
*Wisconsin opened -7 now -8.5 vs Michigan State.
