Those potential weaknesses are not lost on odds makers, who have the team listed as a +5000 moneyline play (risk $100 to win $5000) to win the Lombardi Trophy in the latest Tennessee Titans 2013 Super Bowl XLVII Odds. The Titans are also a relative long shot to win the 2013 AFC Championship Game, presently registering a t +2200 odds to represent the AFC in Super Bowl XLVII.
The Titans, who spilt head-to-head meetings with the Texans last season and finished just a game back of Gary Kubiak’s squad in the AFC South, are not getting a lot of respect from the odds makers at this juncture. Tennessee is listed at +500 odds (a second pick to Houston) to win the division this season and online book maker BetOnline.com is favoring Under 7.5 wins for the Titans at -120 odds (Tennessee Titans Over 7.5 wins -110).
Cantor Gaming of Las Vegas would seem to concur with its offshore counterpart. The sports book, which released 2012 NFL regular season point spreads earlier this month, has Tennessee listed as a favorite in just two of 15 games (Week #17 not included). The Titans are listed as pick’em in three contests, though (at Minnesota Vikngs, at Indianapolis Colts, and home to the New York Jets).
