Sunday NFL Predictions Cleveland Browns at Indianapolis Colts: Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

http://keventertainment.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/andrew-luck-indianapolis-colts-preseason_2811147.jpg

The Cleveland Browns got off the schnide last week and they will look to make it two in a row this afternoon when they battle the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indy (1:00pm ET start time, CBS). Sunday NFL Predictions and odds are favoring the hosting Colts at -130 on the moneyline ($130 wins $100) and -2 against the spread. The Over/Under in today’s game is set at 46 points.

The Browns knocked on the door of a win a couple times prior to last week’s meeting with Cincinnati, but no one opened the door for them until the Bengals. Cleveland rolled up 34 points on its in-state rivals thanks to four Cincinnati turnovers.

The Browns may not find the Colts as accommodating, but then again they might. Indianapolis is -8 in turnover margin and, like Cleveland, it is still working its way into a competitive NFL team.

The Colts two wins did come at home, but so did their 22-17 loss to the 1-4 Jaguars. In other words, nothing is certain with this team at home or on the road. Despite their inferior record, the Browns, for the most part, have been just as competitive as Indianapolis, and there is little doubt Cleveland has played the more difficult schedule, having battled the Bengals, Ravens, and Giants on the road.

Indianapolis is coming off its worst loss of the season as the Jets further exposed its woefully inadequate run defense. New York rolled up 252 yards on the ground on 44 carries. If Cleveland is smart it will follow the Jets blue print.

The Browns are 27th in the league in rush yards per game at 83.2, but they have not committed to the run either, averaging a mere 21.3 rush attempts per game. Look for them to change that this afternoon as they pull off the upset against the Colts.

Free Pick: Take the Browns +2.

Cleveland Browns at Indianapolis Colts NFL Predictions:

Cleveland Browns +2 (-110), Over 46 (-110), +110 (Moneyline)

Indianapolis Colts -2 (-110), Under 46 (-110), -130 (Moneyline)
