AFC rivals Buffalo and Indianapolis will lock horns this afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium in the Hoosier State. Start time in today’s showdown between the Bills and Colts is set for 1:00pm ET on CBS. NFL Sunday Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts Odds are favoring Andrew Luck and company at -3 against the spread; the game total is set at 51 points.

The Colts are still in the AFC South title chase, but sitting 4.5 games back of the first place Texans with just six games remaining means their hope is no hope at all. Indy’s only real chance to reach the postseason is as a wild card, which, fortunately for the club, is not only a possibility, but a realistic one.

The Colts, who are 6-4 entering today’s game, must beat teams like Buffalo, though, as two of their six games are against the aforementioned Texans.

Indianapolis has come a long way in a short period of time, but it has yet to reach the point where it can avoid sweating a team like the Bills. Buffalo, despite its 4-6 record, has proven itself a nuisance even to good teams when it avoids turning the ball the over.

The Colts are far from a turnover generating team, ranking dead last in the league in interceptions and forced fumbles. What that means is the Bills, who’ve earned two of their four wins away from home, will probably be in this game throughout with every opportunity to win.

The Bills recent history in today’s role is not a good one, though, with the team going 1-9 both straight up and against the spread in its last 10 games as a road dog with a spread between 0 and 3.5 points.

Free Pick: Take Buffalo +3. Yes, the Bills are ugly in this situation, but most of those losses came against division opponents. Indy is 4-1 at home this season, but all three of its wins were by three points with the exception of a four point win over the Browns. Buffalo shows up today and makes a game of this.

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts NFL Odds:

Buffalo Bills +3 (-115), Over 51 (-110), +130 (Moneyline)

Indianapolis Colts -3 (-105), Under 51 (-110), -150 (Moneyline)
