The Denver Broncos are hosting the San Diego Chargers in NFL?Football action on Sunday afternoon. The game is scheduled for a 4:05 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. The NFL?Odds for the game have the Broncos favored to pick up the win in this one at home.

This will be the second time in less than a month these two meet on the gridiron. The Chargers won that game 21-13 and are looking for the season sweep here. Last week they earned an overtime victory over Atlanta on the road in a game where they found a way to get it done. It seems every week the Chargers have the football late in the game with a chance to win.
In fact, in San Diego’s four losses all have come by a single possession and by a combined 13 points. Phillip Rivers has 13 touchdowns and just four interceptions this season, his 2,018 yards is fifth-most in the NFL and he has been able to spread it around to the tune of 66 percent completions. Back in the first game in this series Rivers was pretty pedestrian with just 178 yards and a touchdown.
Denver is 3-1 in home games this season. Now they have to go forward without C.J. Anderson running the football as he went down with a pretty nasty injury. Now enter Devontae Booker at the tailback position, he’s a youngster that the Broncos are going to have to find a way to trust.
The Broncos have the better defense here between the two teams, but there are some question marks coming into the game. Aqib Talib, Brandon Marshall and DeMarcus Ware are all banged up and expected to be game-time decisions at best for the Broncos San Diego won the first game here between these two and if Denver is missing all of those defenders, the Chargers should be able to hang around. And as long as Rivers is the quarterback, San Diego is destined to be in a close game at the end.
