Tampa Bay is tied with the Atlanta Falcons atop the NFC South so far this season with 7-5 records. The Buccaneers have dropped eight of the last nine games to the Saints in this series, but they have some confidence going as they roll into this one. Tampa Bay has won four straight games overall but they are a strange team this season.

The Bucs have a really strong road record, going 5-1. At home they're just 2-4, which is an odd thing for a team that is fighting for first place in the division, even if it is one as bad as the NFC South. Jameis Winston is having a strong season as a youngster, he's thrown for 23 touchdowns but has been inconsistent at times as well, tossing 12 picks. The Saints secondary is not a good one, so Winston should be able to put up some numbers in this one.

This is the first of two games between these two in the next couple of weeks, Tampa Bay will take on Dallas in the sandwich game while the Saints will play Arizona. Drew Brees has 30 TD passes on the year and he's pitched it for better than 3,900 yards. He's also coming off a game against the Lions where he threw for better than 300 yards but didn't complete a touchdown pass and threw three interceptions.

The Saints are only 2-3 in road games, but with Tampa Bay's struggles at home nothing is a given here. The Bucs aren't used to winning but it might be something that starts working for them. The defense has played well enough at times this season, but Tampa Bay has been out-scored by eight points on the season. For a team that is fighting for the playoffs, that's a problem.
