Buffalo still hasn’t made the playoffs in forever and it won’t happen this season, either. The Bills have the potential to finish the season with a 9-7 record though and if they do, it will be tough to fire head coach Rex Ryan with a winning record, especially in the AFC. But alas, many have discussed firing him for whatever reason.
The Bills have an excellent option offensively with quarterback Tyrod Taylor and running back LeSean?McCoy. Offensively Buffalo can score but it’s going to take a strong effort from them to put up big numbers in this game. Miami is one of the worst teams in the league against the run, yielding 132.5 yards on the ground per game, which ranks 30th. McCoy should be able to have a big game because of this. The Dolphins are sending out Matt Moore at the quarterback position because of the injury to Ryan Tannehill. Moore and the Dolphins have won two consecutive games, beating Arizona and the Jets.
Moore threw for four touchdowns last week in the win over New York, finding tight end Dion Sims twice for scores. The Dolphins have weapons, but Buffalo has been decent against teams through the air this season. The front seven by the Bills will have a big impact on this game, especially if they can reach Moore in the backfield.
In this game, Buffalo can play spoiler in keeping Miami from reaching double digit wins. The run game combination with?Taylor and McCoy will lead them to a win.
