Major League Baseball Miami Marlins at Los Angels Dodgers Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Miami Marlins are on the road tonight in Major League Baseball action when they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. The game is scheduled for a 10:10 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Dodgers listed as a pretty solid favorite to pick up the win in this one.

The Dodgers and Marlins are the late game on the Major League Baseball schedule Monday night. Zack Greinke, sitting at 5-0 for the year with an ERA of 1.56 will get the ball for the Dodgers. This is the first game in the series and it will be the first time Miami second baseman Dee Gordon will be facing his former teammates from the Dodgers after being traded in the off season. Gordon has been absolutely clobbering the baseball so far this year, leading the Majors with a .439 average through the teams' 32 games.

LA has won the last five starts Greinke has made after they lost in his first appearance, a no decision against the San Diego Padres. In every start this season Greinke has thrown at least six innings but he hasn't reached double digit strikeouts yet. Curren Miami hitters own a .270 average against Greinke in their careers in 111 at bats. Ichiro Suzuki has had the most success with nine hits in 28 at bats (.321) while both Giancarlo Stanton and Michael Morse have taken Greinke deep.

The Marlins will give the ball to Tom Koehler, who owns a record of 2-3 for the season and has a 5.18 ERA so far. Koehler does have much better splits at home compared to the road as well, which could make for a pretty bad evening. Koehler has an ERA of 8.59 on the road this season in 14 2/3 innings. Current Dodgers have an average of .267 in just 46 plate appearances.

LA is one of the best teams in the Majors in home games, sporting a record of 13-2 at Chavez Ravine. Miami has not been good away from their own building at 7-10.
