The Baylor Bears are hosting the SMU Mustangs in college football action Saturday afternoon. The game is schedule for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1. The college football odds for the game have the Bears favored to run away with this one.

Baylor’s been a mess, and for good reason, but the Bears got back to football last week and were able to cruise to a win over Northwestern State, 55-7. Seth Russell threw for 163 yards on 14 completions, four of which were touchdowns. Baylor also had a big game on the ground as well, posting 275 yards for an average of 6.4 yards per carry.
SMU also won last week, beating North Texas 34-21 in a road contest that saw the Mustangs build an early lead and hang on. Courtland Sutton had a big game with three TD grabs and 162 yards on just four catches, Xavier Jones rushed for 115 yards and a score.
The world may never be able to forgive Baylor for what happened, but football is still to be played and they have a good team this season.
SMU has a better team this season, but this won’t be close.
