The Texas Longhorns are hosting the UTEP Miners in college football action Saturday night. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on the Longhorn Network. The college football odds for the game have the Longhorns favored to beat up on the Miners.

The Texas Longhorns are riding high after upsetting No. 10 Notre Dame last week. Now they have to find a way to remained focus in this battle with in-state UTEP. The Longhorns were inconsistent last season and it cost them.
Texas seems to have its quarterback system figured out, the youngster Shane Buechele threw for 280 and two scores, Tyrone Swoopes rushed for three TDs, including the game-winner in double overtime.
This is a game Texas should win. UTEP scored 38 points in the opener and the Miners piled up 518 yards of offense against New Mexico State. Zack Greenlee threw for three touchdowns, Aaron Jones rushed for 249 yards and scored twice while averaging eight full yards per carry.
The Miners are going to be playing a much better defense in this one, but it will be interesting to see whether or not Texas has the right frame of mind or not coming of the big win over Notre Dame.
