College Football Odds
Houston -7.5
Total: 64.5 points
Big game here for Houston, even if it’s not considered one by many around the country. The Cougars have already risen to sixth in the country after a huge season-opening win over Oklahoma, now a conference game against a gritty Cincinnati team will test the Houston team and its sixth-overall ranking.
Both teams have averaged 30-plus points per game to open the season, each defense has been strong as well. The Houston win over Oklahoma is arguably the best of the young college football season, but can they keep it going with a road win here?
A victory for Cincinnati would obviously be huge — the bearcats only have a handful of tough opponents the rest of the season as well.
The quarterback will have a lot to say about this one. Cincinnati’s Hayden Moore has five TD passes so far this year, Greg Ward Jr. of Houston is also a very strong quarterback. Both defenses have played well, but this game looks to see some points.
