The Clemson Tigers are hosting the NC State Wolfpack in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a noon start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. The college football odds for the game have the Tigers favored by three possessions to pick up the win.

NC State earned a nice win last week in hurricane conditions over Notre Dame, the lone touchdown in the contest came on a muffed Irish punt. This game should be a bit different for the Wolfpack as the conditions are expected to be just fine which gives Clemson a great change to run away with this one.
The Wolfpack are 4-1 on the season, a bad loss at East Carolina is the only blemish on the schedule, but that was back in the second week of the season and NC State has certainly improved since then.
Clemson is coming off a beatdown of Boston College last week, they won 56-10 in a game many thought could be a letdown for them but the Tigers drilled the Eagles. That game was played during the week, which gives Clemson an extra day to get Deshaun Watson feeling better and the Tiger defense geared up for an NC State that is balanced and has been able to put up points all season (except in hurricanes).
The high-flying Clemson offense might get slowed down a bit though. The Wolfpack are just outside the Top 30 nationally in terms of time of possession, holding the rock for 32 minutes per game. Clemson ranks 106th nationally, they hang onto the football just over 26 minutes a game, though they do score quickly.
If NC State can hang onto the football and sustain some drives, they can cover this number. The Wolfpack have only played one road game, though, which they of course lost to East Carolina. That could be a bit of a problem here, but sustained drives that end in points will keep them in the game.
