The Texas Longhorns are hosting the Baylor Bears in college basketball action on Saturday afternoon. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college basketball odds for the game have the Bears favored to pick up the win on the road.
College Basketball Odds
Baylor -6
Total: 126.5 points
Texas is a ship lost at sea. The Longhorns are an astonishing 10-20 on the season and just 4-13 in Big 12 play, hosting a team in Baylor that was once ranked No. 1 in the country this season. That’s no longer the same Bears team but they should still find a way to win here in Austin.
They say winning can be contagious, but losing can be as well. The Longhorns opened the season a pedestrian 6-5, but have since gone on to win just four of the last 19 games. That’s bad.
What’s even worse is the line for this game. Baylor, if playing up to its potential, should have no issues covering the number. Even so, just a couple of possessions seems like a fishy situation. That said, Baylor is just better on both ends of the floor compared to Texas. That will showcase itself here in this one.
