While the team is not being viewed as a league bottom feeder, it is still a relative long shot, at +3000 moneyline odds, to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to the Queen City. The Bengals are also the eighth pick in the AFC, at +1300 odds, to win the conference championship game. Cincinnati is looking at long odds in terms of a division championship too with the team presently drawing +325 on the moneyline to move past the Steelers and Ravens in the AFC North.
Cincinnati climbed above the .500 mark for the second time in the last three seasons last year, finishing with a 9-7 record. Cantor Gaming of Las Vegas sees Cincinnati teetering around 8-8 as well. Mike Colbert, the sports book director for Cantor, released point spreads for weeks one through 16 of the 2012 NFL regular season schedule; he has the Bengals favored in six games and listed as a pick’em in two others (home to the Broncos and Giants).
