2013 Chicago Bears season win total

This year's NFL Season Win Totals have been released by the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Hilton). The Chicago Bears have been projected with an over/under of 8.5 wins this season. The NFC North saw three teams win double digit games last season and the Bears will look to get there again in 2013. The LVH has released season win totals for each of the NFL franchises and the Bears are being projected to be fighting for a playoff spot in the NFC by oddsmakers.

The NFC is loaded with several good teams this year. The NFC North has three of those teams with the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings, all of which won double digit games a season ago. It's probably not likely that those three teams will all get to 10 wins again this season and oddsmakers have tabbed the Bears with an over/under of 8.5 wins for the upcoming season.

Jay Cutler threw for better than 3,00 yards last season, totaling 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions as well. His INTs have been well documented by the media and have hurt the Bears a little during his time as QB, keeping them from joining the world of the elite teams in the NFL. Matt Forte, if he can stay healthy, is one of the better backs in the league and eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark last season. Forte can also catch passes out of the backfield and gives the Bears a legitimate threat out of the backfield. And don't forget about Brandon Marshall, either. He's in the group of elite wide receivers in the league.

The schedule is very tough early, heading into the bye week. They have back to back road games against Pittsburgh and Detroit early on and have to take on the Saints, Giants and Redskins. The Bears will play the Packers twice on the second half of the schedule and also take on the Cowboys, Super Bowl Champion Ravens and a road game in Philadelphia toward the end of the season could be big.
