The New York Giants are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The NFL Odds for the game have the Bengals favored by a point on the road to pick up the win.

Cincinnati has gone from right around a field goal underdog to the favorite in this one. The Bengals get tight end Tyler Eifert back in the mix completely healthy, he's coming off a strong appearance in Cincinnati's last game with nine catches for better than 100 yards and a touchdown. Andy Dalton lost a ton of production in the offseason and A.J. Green can't do it by himself, so having Eifert there now gives the Bengals an added weapon.

New York has some good weapons, led by Odell Beckham Jr. The problem for the Giants is their inability to run the football at all. New York averages less than 69 yards on the ground per game, which is terrible, and they're running for less than four yards per carry, which is the average in the NFL. Yet, somehow the Giants are 5-3 on the season thanks to three consecutive wins. The Giants have a solid defense and confidence should be high as they've played well enough to win those three straight games. 

The Bengals are returning from a trip to London that was absolutely pointless as they played to a 27-27 tie with Washington. Cincinnati's offense has been pretty solid this season and sits inside the Top 10 in both passing and running yards per game for the season. Jeremy Hill is their featured back that gets a lot of carries, his bruising style won't be very effective tonight against a Giant team that ranks fourth-best in the league against the run.

New York can't run the football, which makes them one dimensional and that can hurt in a game like this. Cincinnati's defense is getting older but they should be able to handle a team that does the same thing basically every play.
