The Baylor Bears will host the TCU Horned Frogs in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. The college football odds for the game have the Bears favored to pick up the win at home.

Baylor is coming off a loss to Texas last week, it was the first time they really played anybody of substance to date and it cost them. Baylor breezed through the first six games of their schedule, the toughest opponent during that time was Oklahoma State. Now they will play a TCU team that comes in having lost two straight and three of the last four.
The Horned Frogs just aren’t the same team they’ve been under Gary Patterson. What was once a proud defense is now one that surrenders 30 points a game and hasn’t been able to help them win football games. Now the team could be looking at just finding a way to get to six wins to reach a bowl game.
Baylor’s Seth Russell is going to be throwing it all over the yard in this one, but the Bears could also turn to a pretty strong run game as well. Russell has six TDs on the ground while Terence Williams and Shock Linwood both average six yards per carry as well. TCU has been decent against the run this year, allowing 150 yards per game, and they will have to find a way to stop Baylor from getting the ground game going.
Baylor’s defense has allowed less than three touchdowns per game, but they haven’t played teams with good offenses. TCU can score some points and its possible they score enough to push this one over.
