He was on the field for 96 percent of Tennessee’s offensive snaps Sunday in the team’s loss to Indianapolis, but he had a big game with 121 yards on 27 carries but wasn’t able to find the end zone.
Jacksonville keeps looking like a team that could be primed for a big season but routinely falls short of expectations. The Jaguars turn it over too often, they have no running game and the defense has struggled because they’re always behind and it seems like the defense is always on the field. The Jaguars are 30th in the league in time of possession, leading only San?Francisco and the New York Giants in that category.
Tennessee has actually been pretty solid in the time of possession category, ranking ninth-best in the league. The difference between the teams has been?Tennesse’s ability to run the football with?Murray and quarterback Marcus Mariota. Tennessee is only 1-3 in home games this season, losing to Minnesota, Oakland and Indianapolis, but they should have an edge in this one against Jacksonville.
These Thursday night games have been less than stellar all season and with two struggling teams here, this could be one of those fantastic games with a ton of points or it could just be another bad game.
