NBA Playoff Odds
Cleveland -6
Total: 196.5 points
The home team has won each of the previous five games in this series. Tonight Toronto looks to continue that trend with a victory to hold off elimination. The Raptors have been a strong home team all season, but tonight Toronto is going to have to play its best game of the season in order to find a way to stay alive.
LeBron James and company have been strong in close-out games. He's lead teams to an 8-1 record in Game 6 of series after taking a 3-2 lead. It doesn't help that Toronto has lost four straight Game 6s, with the last win coming in 2001.
A win for Cleveland would put them in a second-straight NBA Finals. The Game 5 blowout was an eye-opener as James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving all went over 20 points in the game. That improved the Cavs to 14-1 this season when all three score at least 20 points in a game.
Toronto is going to need big games from DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. The Raptors have picked up four wins over Cleveland in Canada this season, including the two wins in Games 3 and 4 of this series. Toronto played well in both games, but Dwane Casey and the Raptors need to find a way to put Game 5 behind them after getting blown out.
Cleveland is favored, Toronto is playing for its playoff lives and tonight should be a solid game.
