NBA Playoff Odds Miami Heat at Toronto Raptors Game 5 Start Time

The Toronto Raptors are hosting the Miami Heat tonight in NBA Playoff action. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. Currently the NBA Playoff Odds for the game have the Raptors favored to pick up the win at home.

NBA Playoff Odds
Toronto -4.5
Total: 188.5 points

Miami picked up a huge win in Game 4 of this series, evening it at 2-2. Had the Heat lost that game they would be in a seriously bad spot here, having to win out to advance to the conference finals.

Toronto’s Game 3 win was its second in a row, which made up for a Game 1 loss at home. The Raptors have kept the games mostly in the 90s, a pace which has seen them look comfortable at times.

There’s been talk of Dwayne Wade shooting jumpers during the Canadian national anthem and it being disrespectful, but has it taken some of the focus away from the Raptors? Miami lost that game but it seems as if more has been made of the incident in the days following than actual game night.

Hassan Whiteside won’t play in this game tonight, but Toronto is still without Jonas Valanciunas. Interior play from either team could prove to be a major impact on tonight’s game. Both Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have continued to struggle, combining for just 19 points in Game 4.

Toronto has to play well tonight, they’re favored and will look to take advantage of Amare Stoudemire having to start at center for Miami.
