This series should be fun. The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors both have strong teams that could potentially push the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Both Miami and Toronto are coming off Game 7 victories in the opening round and the Raptors will be looking to take advantage of their strong home court advantage. Toronto went 32-9 at home this season and they won three of the four games played in Canada against the Indiana Pacers in the opening round.
That included a 5-point win in the seventh and deciding game, DeMar DeRozan had a huge game with 30 points though he took 32 shots. Four other Raptors finished in double figures and they finished with an impressive eight turnovers for the entire game.
The Heat have an experienced team that has been in playoff series like this. That could have a big impact here as well. The Raptors come into this one having won five of the last six meetings overall.
Dwayne Wade should never be overlooked in playoff games like this. He has played very well in the playoffs to date, averaging 19 points per game while leading the Heat to victories in Game 6 and 7.
The Raptors have a big advantage playing at home here, plus Miami still doesn’t have Chris Bosh back.
