The San Francisco Giants are on the road again today in Major League Baseball action, taking on the New York Mets. Matt Cain (0-2, 6.43) opposes him, he has struggled to find his command and the once dominant ace is under the .500 mark for his career after 11 years. Cain has simply dealt with injuries and not been consistent the past few seasons.

Current Mets are hitting .256 against him over 78 plate appearances, he’s given up 10 extra base hits. The road splits have not been kind in recent years as well, where he has a 4.25 ERA over his last 28 starts.
