The Miami Heat will on the road tonight, taking on the Charlotte Hornets in Game 6 of their NBA Playoff series. NBA Odds
Hornets -2, Heat +2
Total: 191 points
Don’t look now, but the Charlotte Hornets have a chance to end their first round series tonight with a win over the Heat. Miami is still upset about a no-call with Dwyane Wade at the end of Game 5, but now they can’t really dwell on it. Erik Spoelstra needs to have his team ready to go for Game 6 tonight, where they will certainly have to deal with a tough crowd in Charlotte, looking to help their Hornets reach the next round.
A win here tonight would give the Hornets their first series win in 14 seasons. The defense has been a big part of that as Miami posted two straight games over 100 points in the opening two games of the series, but have averaged less than 85 points in the three games following that.
The Hornets have an edge here tonight, having picked up five wins in six games against the Heat at home. Miami has the experienced team and that could have an impact on tonight’s game. Charlotte will be ready to go, but Wade’s desire to get his team a win cannot be overlooked.
